2023-2024 DRESSAGE SHOW RULES

  • All dressage tests available, from Intro to Grand Prix
  • Western Dressage tests are *NEW* for 2022, Intro to Level 4
  • USDF Dressage Tests 2019 Intro to Level 4 are good through 11/30/22
  • FEI Tests – Check FEI website
  • Entries open Monday – 3 weeks before show
  • Entries close Friday one week before show
  • Dressage Online Show Entry form and Membership form required with payment to receive Ride Times (deadlines are noted on entry form.) Classes scratched after Ride Times are sent are non-refundable.
  • Check in and pick up of scored tests at gazebo next to the Dressage ring.
  • Ride Times: Ride times will be emailed weekend prior to the show and available on our web site, pbcposse.com. Late entries will be emailed to rider.
  • Attire: Our shows encourage a casual riding experience with riders required to wear riding breeches, collared shirt and boots. Helmets are required for all PBP shows and worn whenever on horseback. No rider will be marked down due to attire.
  • Association Rules: PBP follows USEF, USDA WDAA rules. There are exceptions based on PBP Big 25 Rules, ie relaxed dress code. If you have a special request for equipment, wound care, etc. please contact the Dressage Director before the show.
  • Schooling Ring: Schooling is available on Friday of show weekend in the show Dressage Ring for $20.
  • Daily Awards: Daily Awards are ribbons from 1st thru 6th (7th, 8th & Participation ribbons for 12U Riders).
  • Year End Awards: To qualify for year-end awards riders must compete in the same level on the same horse 5 of the 8 shows for the season. We award Grand & Reserve through 6th place for a Division (Level) or individual tests. Points are awarded on horse/rider combination. Points are available on the web site, www.pbcposse.com
  • PBP ‘BIG 25’ RULES GOVERN ALL SHOWS
  • Show Entry is made through https://www.horseshowsonline.com and must be complete prior to the Monday before the show weekend. Late entries are subject to ride time availability and a $10 Late Fee. A copy of a horse’s Current Negative Coggins must be submitted with your Show Entry with initial Membership & Forms, submitted again only upon expiration. Scratches for any reason after Ride Times assigned are non-refundable
  • Bridle Numbers: Each horse/rider combination will be issued a bridle number at the Ring gazebo or office. All horses on the show grounds must wear a bridle number or the rider must wear a back number while mounted.
  • Ride Times: Ride times will be available on our web site, https://pb-posse.com. Late entries will be emailed to Rider

  • Dressage Class Fee $35.00
  • Non-Compete Horse Fee $20.00 (Additional Cost: Membership Fee, Admin Fee, Haul in or Stall)
  • Stalls $55.00 which includes 1 bag of Shavings (Sat Night)
  • Shavings $12.00 Per Bag
  • Schooling/jump fee $20 (excluding leadline)
  • Haul-in Fee $10.00 per Horse is required when not using stalls Only on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Back Number $2.00 Per Number
  • Administrative fee on every horse/rider combination is $25.00
  • Membership (Sep-Aug) $50.00 For Family, $40.00 For Individual, $40.00 For Trainer

No horses are allowed on the Showground on Friday before the show

Full Membership is Required for all PBCMP shows to qualify for year-end points.  Non-Compete/Day Pass Memberships are also available with Daily Awards but no consideration for Year End Awards.
