Show Rules


  1. Show Entry Form and Payment are printed and mailed to Alyce Michelbrink, 13397 Marcella Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470. Entries must be received 7 DAYS prior to the show. Late entries are subject to ride time availability and a $10 Late Fee. A copy of a horse’s Current Negative Coggins must be submitted with your Show Entry with initial Membership & Forms, submitted again only upon expiration. Scratches for any reason after Ride Times assigned are non-refundable.
  2. Bridle Numbers: Each horse/rider combination will be issued a bridle number at the Ring gazebo. All horses on the show grounds must wear a bridle number.
  3. Ride Times: Ride times will be emailed weekend prior to the show and available on our web site, www.pbcposse.com. Late entries will be emailed to Rider.
  4. Attire: Our shows encourage a casual riding experience with riders required to wear riding breeches, collared shirt and boots. Helmets are required for all PBCMP shows and worn whenever on horseback. No Rider will be marked down due to attire.
  5. Association Rules: PBCMP follows USEF, USDA WDAA rules. There are exceptions based on PBCMP Big 25 Rules, ie relaxed dress code. If you have a special request for equipment, wound care, etc. please contact the Dressage Director before the show.
  6. Daily Awards: Daily Awards are Ribbons from 1st thru 6th (7th, 8th & Participation ribbons for 12U Riders).
  7. Year End Awards: To qualify for year-end awards riders must compete in the same level on the same horse 5 of the 8 shows for the season. We award Grand & Reserve through 6th place for a Division (Level) or individual tests. Points are awarded on horse/rider combination. Points are available on the web site, www.pbcposse.com
